Botulinum Toxin

It works by blocking the nerve impulses to the injected muscles which reduces muscle activity that causes moderate to severe lines to form. Within 5 days, there will be a marked improvement in the injected area.  Lines continue to improve for up to 30 days, and results can last for up to 3 to 4 months. Individual results may vary. Visible results have been shown to last up to 4 months. Discomfort is usually minimal and brief. The entire procedure takes approximately 10 minutes. Most patients are in and out of the physician’s office without downtime.

It is used to treat fine lines, muscle spasm, excessive sweating, migraine, cluster headaches, tension headaches, flaring of the nostrils and other medical conditions.

Side effects associated with the injection include localized discomfort, infection, inflammation, tenderness, swelling, swelling, redness, and/or bleeding/bruising.


  • are allergic to botulinum toxin or any of the ingredients in any of the available botulinum toxin products
  • have a skin infection at the planned injection site
  • a disease that affects your muscles and nerves (such as  Multiple Sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, myasthenia gravis or Lambert-Eaton syndrome).
  • had any side effect from any botulinum toxin product in the past
  • swallowing problems
  • bleeding problems
  • plans to have surgery
  • weakness of your forehead muscles, such as trouble raising your eyebrows
  • drooping eyelids
  • are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
  • are breast-feeding.

Avoid excessive alcohol consumption

Apply make-up very gently with a sponge applicator or avoid wearing it

Up to 2 days

Do not rub or massage the treated area as it may cause spread od the solution to nearby areas

After gently washing, pat the skin gently to dry.

Up to 2 weeks

Avoid exposure to strong sunlight

Avoid extremes or hot and cold temperatures

Do not have beauty treatments such as facials or facial massage ect.
